TBH Class Tier List & Best Builds

Knight Ranger Sorcerer Priest Hunter Slayer

TBH has six playable classes, each with a distinct role, weapon type, and skill tree. This tier list ranks them based on overall effectiveness across all game content — pushing stages, farming, boss killing, and party synergy.

Note: The "best" class for you depends on your playstyle and party composition. Even C-tier classes can shine in the right setup. This ranking is about general power and flexibility.

TBH Class Tier List

Tier Class Role Strength
S Knight Tank Best survivability, scales well, essential for hard content
A Priest Healer/Buffer Only healer, massive party buffs, enables high-stage pushing
A Slayer Slayer DPS Highest raw damage output, excellent boss killer
B Ranger Ranged DPS Consistent damage, safe positioning, great third party slot
B Sorcerer Magic DPS Strong AoE, elemental damage flexibility, gear-dependent
C Hunter Trap/Utility Niche playstyle, high skill ceiling, situational value

S Tier: Knight

Role: Tank | Weapon: Sword + Shield | Base HP: 130 (highest)

The Knight is TBH's premier tank and the most versatile class in the game. With the highest base HP (130), highest armor (45), and solid attack damage, the Knight anchors almost every competitive party composition.

Why S Tier: High survivability means fewer deaths, which means more idle uptime. The Knight's passive tree includes HP regeneration, block chance, and damage reduction — all of which scale beautifully into the late game. Sacred Blade and Aegis Field provide party-wide protection.

Recommended build priority: Health Enhancement → Armor Enhancement → Retribution Strike → Block Chance → Unyielding Will → Aegis Field (party shield) → Sacred Blade

A Tier: Priest & Slayer

Priest

Role: Healer/Buffer | Base HP: 95

The Priest is the only dedicated healer in TBH. That alone makes it A-tier. The Priest's healing, buffs (Blessing Of Might, Blessing of Warding), and revive ability enable your party to survive fights that would otherwise be impossible. Every serious party runs a Priest.

Recommended build priority: Blessing Of Might → Heal → Blessing of Warding → Sanctuary → Resurrection

Slayer

Role: Slayer DPS | Base HP: 115

The Slayer is the game's highest raw damage dealer. With Axe Whirlwind, Berserk, and Commander's Cry, the Slayer can shred bosses and clear waves faster than any other class. The trade-off: lower survivability than Knight and reliance on a healer to stay alive.

Recommended build priority: Crushing Blow → Slam Jump → Commander's Cry → Ground Slam → Bloodlust (only with 15%+ lifesteal)

B Tier: Ranger & Sorcerer

Ranger

Role: Ranged DPS | Base HP: 60

Ranger is a consistent, safe damage dealer. Arrow Rain and Scatter Shot provide reliable AoE, and the class's range keeps it out of danger. Ranger shines as a third party member behind Knight + Priest. Not S-tier because its damage ceiling is lower than Slayer and it lacks utility.

Recommended build priority: Rapid Fire → Scatter Shot → Arrow Rain → Swift Surge → Piercing Arrow

Sorcerer

Role: Magic DPS | Base HP: 50 (lowest)

The Sorcerer brings elemental damage — Fireball, Ice Orb, Lightning, Meteor Strike, Snowstorm. Its strength is flexibility: you can tune your damage type to enemy weaknesses. The downside is fragility (lowest base HP in the game) and heavy gear dependency. A well-geared Sorcerer is terrifying; a poorly-geared one is a liability.

Recommended build priority: Fireball → Snowstorm → Lightning → Flame Hydra → Meteor Strike Strike

C Tier: Hunter

Hunter

Role: Trap/Utility | Base HP: 70

Recommended build priority: Explosive Bolt → Frost Bolt → Charge Trap → Quick Loader → Crossbow Turret

How to Build Every Class

Regardless of which class you play, these principles hold:

  1. Max 2-3 skills before branching out. A level-5 skill is exponentially better than a level-1 skill. Focus your points.
  2. HP is never wasted. Every class benefits from more health. Even DPS classes need enough HP to survive AoE damage.
  3. Attack Speed > Attack Damage in most cases. Faster attacks mean more skill triggers, more crit opportunities, and more life leech returns.
  4. Match your gear to your damage type. The Knight deals physical damage — don't equip fire-damage gear. The Sorcerer deals elemental damage — don't stack physical bonuses.
  5. The Rune tree is class-agnostic. Rune bonuses apply to all heroes. Invest in hero slots, skill slots, auto-open chests, and drop rate — in that order.
